Having
unprotected anal sex is a good way to contract the HIV/AIDS
virus. Before any type of anal sex activity, it is important
that you protect yourself and your partner. Make sure to discuss

Bowel
Movements
It's a good idea to have a bowel movement at least an hour before
anal sex (if possible). This decreases bacterial contamination
as well as messes that may not be desirable.
Cleaning
Your Anus
Try to clean your anus thoroughly with hot, soapy water before
any anal activities. A great alternative are baby wipes, in
fact, a strippers technique, many people use them instead of
toilet paper for clean up after any bowel movement.
An anal enema is a surge of distilled, clean water into the
anus which cleanses the area. Please Note- enemas do NOT

The entire anal region has a variety of bacteria inside and
just outside it. You will want to be careful to avoid getting
that bacteria into other orifices of your body to prevent infection.

Oral
Anal Sex-
Also known
as "Analingus," it is the act of licking or inserting

Preparation For Anal Sex
To prepare
for anal sex, the first thing the receiver needs to do is relax.
Pain will most certainly occur is the receiver is tense and
clenching their sphincter muscles.
A hot bath
or massage are great beforehand and as things progress you will

To prevent

Thrusting
This is

prostate is analogous to the G spot in women which is shown

better way to find it from the rectum is to insert the middle

glands backing up behind valves in the ejaculatory ducts. When
fluid pressure reaches a high enough threshold, the valves open
and the urethral bulb fills, triggering the ejaculatory reflex

You can massage your prostate by simply inserting your finger

I
hope, with all my heart, that what I am about to share with
the readers of this newsletter, will help at least one person
not make the mistakes I have made and thereby avoid years of
frustration and anger and regret. I am 51 years old, married
for 24 years, with one son who is 12 years old.
At
my age, I should have gotten it all together by now, especially
in the sexual arena. But I am a late bloomer. I feel that if
we assigned a sexual experience age to people, I would be around
25 years old.
I
was born the eldest daughter in a family of three girls. At
age 10, I followed my Mother around the house for weeks, bugging
her to explain the facts of life to me.
One
Saturday, we sat down at the kitchen table and she was armed
with pamphlets from the organization called Planned Parenthood.
She read some facts from the pamphlets about Menstruation etc.
and then took a pad of paper and pencil
and drew a stick figure of a man with the penis and a woman
and had them facing one another and she simply said, "The man
puts his penis in the woman's vagina and that's that." She said
the pamphlets would explain it in more detail.
My
Mom never spoke about the beauty or thrill of making love. And
that's because it never was that for her. I grew up feeling
loved and protected but very sad. My parents fought all the
time and although there was no physical abuse or use of alcohol,
drugs, etc., there was a great deal of verbal abuse between
my folks. I escaped the fighting by going to church and funeral
homes. These places provided the peacefulness I longed for.
My
best friend was God and I talked to Him continuously and then
my Dad became worried that I would become a religious fanatic,
so he grounded me from going to church. This made me want to
go even more. And the churches I went to were usually very fundamental…the
operative word here is MENTAL!!
In
time, I became conflicted between the church's teachings and
my personal relationship with the God of my understanding. I
was unable to connect the goodness of God with the base of sexuality.
I saw them at odds with one another. How could a God of purity
and holiness endorse the erotic side of men and women? I struggled
with my own feelings of sensuality and tried to deny that I
had sexual needs or that I really did enjoy titillating photos
or movies.
I remember at about age 7, my sisters and I would "peek" at
my Dad's Playboy magazines and I would feel this rush of heat
in my genitals and would promptly feel guilty about those sensations.
I knew that I wasn't attracted to girls in any way other than
friendship, so why was I feeling this excitement? I always analyzed
and questioned and thought deeply about things, but never knew
anyone that I could freely talk to about these sexual matters.
I never fit in with the church ladies and most of them probably
had "constipated clits," so how much help could they
have been?
I
briefly attended a Christian university hoping to become a missionary,
but that dream was not to be. I worked at a variety of jobs
and while working at a bank in 1977, I decided to take my 2-week
vacation and go to New York City. While in New York, I had an
interview at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Manhattan
to check out the drama school and enroll for the
fall semester. While waiting for my interview, a number of students
came down these stairs on their way to rehearsal and the girls
were dressed in sleeveless short dresses and immediately I freaked
out and began thinking up all these excuses why I couldn't attend
this school and pursue an acting career.
I
didn't stop to think of all the reasons why I should pursue
acting, which had really always been my first love. I had enjoyed
success and fulfillment while acting in and working on many
high school plays and had earned my Thespian pin and certificate.
I was a friendly and outgoing person and just really loved people.
I knew just about everybody at my high school and was involved
in many clubs and organizations, including my job as a school
newspaper reporter.
I
was open and expressive and although I was not beautiful, I
was cute. I was 5' tall and weighed about 105 pounds and my
measurements were 34-24-35. My boyfriend was the captain of
the basketball team. With all these accomplishments, it is hard
to believe how deeply insecure I was. The reason I freaked out
when I saw those girls in sleeveless dresses was because I never
wore anything sleeveless because of a large scar on my shoulder
and the feelings of shame about my body and low self-esteem
took center stage at that moment. So, I'm sitting in the lobby
of this prestigious acting school with the door of opportunity
beckoning for me to walk through and I walked away.
I
thought about other opportunities in my life that were missed
because of being too self-conscious and unable to accept and
love myself and insensitive remarks made by a boyfriend I loved
and trusted. Those insensitive remarks would haunt me for years
and prevent me from letting go sexually. I remembered the many
relationships with boys in high school and college where I used
sexual behavior to try and overcome hang-ups about my body.
The overwhelming guilt and shame I felt in connection with my
sexual needs, coupled with my belief in God, and the use of
sex for the wrong reasons, all combined to make me nearly go
crazy.
I
left New York City and left behind the last of my dreams. I
got a new job and met this quiet, sweet guy who had never kissed
a girl or been sexually experienced at all. Once again, I went
through "the motions" sexually with him…desperately needing
some kind of approval in order to feel good about myself. And
all the while, I found no pleasure in anything sexual.
After
dating this man for two years and feeling comfortable enough
with him, we got married. It was on our wedding night that we
first had sexual intercourse. I was 26 years old and
had waited until I was married to have intercourse and it was
horrible!! He didn't know what he was doing and I was just as
lost. It was so mechanical and without any sort of passion or
thrill. It was incredibly PAINFUL!! It felt like knives were
being shoved in me and twisted!!
The
honeymoon was just as pitiful. I started my period and so we
never had intercourse that whole week and then when we got back
home, our house was infested with bees and was to be exterminated.
We spent the next two weeks at my in-laws house and my husband
kept the bedroom door opened because he was embarrassed to have
his parents think we were doing anything in there! Truth is,
we weren't!
It
would seem that at age 26, my husband and I were mature enough
for marriage and indeed we were very mature about financing
a house and remodeling it and paying bills and all the working
aspects of a marriage. But we were emotionally and sexually
immature. I married for all the RIGHT reasons…he was decent,
hardworking, kind, considerate, trustworthy, faithful, etc.
I never figured passion or chemistry into the equation. I didn't
think they really mattered.
My
husband was just so happy to have found someone to love him
because he never thought he would ever get married. We were
never able to really talk about matters of the heart. I would
beg him to tell me what he felt or thought and he just shrugged
his shoulders and said it was too hard for him to come up with
something to say. This would lead to arguments and frustration
and anger.
I
believe it is so true that a skilled lover makes love to a woman
between her ears before he ever makes love to her between her
legs. Intercourse remained a torture for me. For him, it was
a quick, satisfying release. He tried to please me in other
ways, but it was always like he was a little boy asking for
permission.
I
went to the first of many gynecologists about three months after
we were married and told the doctor about the horrendous pain
during intercourse and just burst into tears and he immediately
said, "You and your husband need counseling." The doctor then
pulled out a card for a group session and said it would cost
$100. My husband refused to go to counseling, and that was that.
Gynecologist
# 2 said my problem was that I had too much time on my hands
and that I needed to get pregnant and he tried to force fertility
drugs on me. I refused and basically told him he was nuts.
The
third doctor was always cracking jokes with his nurse during
the gynecological exam kept saying, "These damn virgins have
more sexual problems than anybody I know. There should be a
law passed that nobody can get married if they are still a virgin!"
His recommendation was that I buy a book for $25 that explored
areas of sexuality and that my husband and I should take flashlights
and sit in front of a full-length mirror and study our genitalia.
I
bought the book and began to ask my husband questions from the
work sheet and he got so angry and embarrassed that the next
day, I burned the book in the fireplace.
The
final # 4 gynecologist exclaimed that my whole problem was that
I still had my hymen intact and he would perform a simple operation
to remove the hymen and all would be fine. Well, that was not
the solution. The pain got worse, the level of anger kept increasing
and was compounded by the fact that I could not tell my husband
the truth which was…he simply did not turn me on.
But
I had made a promise before God and witnesses to, "love, honor,
and cherish, for better or worse, till death do us part." I
think most women avoid telling a man the truth about how unsatisfied
they are because they don't want to hurt his feelings or bruise
his ego. So, many women slip quietly into the bathroom and masturbate
to be able to cum or wait until the man is gone to have private
pleasure time with themselves.
I
couldn't even find release in masturbation because I believed
it was sinful. And when I did pleasure myself, I would cry for
days afterwards and ask God to forgive me. So year after year
passed and miraculously, I got pregnant and had a child. I say
miraculously, because the year I conceived my son, we had intercourse
only 3 times!
The
last time we had sexual intercourse, was 12 years ago and it
was still painful and miserable. In 24 years of marriage, we
have had intercourse maybe 12 times! I was the one who said,
"No more!" And being the quiet, agreeable guy that my husband
is, it just ended without any discussion.
I
did oral sex on him because I thought that was the least I could
do for him. I did not want my husband to do anything to me sexually
and so he didn't. We eventually stopped kissing and hugging,
even though he kept asking. Two years ago, I stopped the oral
sex because I realized I was just going through the motions
and had no desire at all to do it. To continue to do something
sexual that was not in my heart to do seemed really dishonest.
Also,
about two years ago, I started a personal sexuality study to
understand many things, which I had never explored before. I
confronted this conflict of Christianity
vs. Sensuality and have found a peaceful resolution that
has given me a more genuine relationship with God and allowed
me the freedom to discover my body's capacity for pleasure and
intense orgasms.
I
learned from a Christian website that there is nothing in the
Bible about masturbation being sinful. It is not God, but man-made
religion that teaches it is evil and dirty to enjoy touching
oneself and explore the heights of ecstasy that can result from
having such an intimate knowledge of one's body. This kind of
activity leads not to the portals of Hell, but to the gates
of Heaven. And so I can shout loud and clear with the champions
of truth…"Free at last, free at last, thank God I'm free at
last!"
My
husband and I continue to live as brother and sister. We are
not content with this bizarre situation and attempts at marriage
counseling have been too
little, too late. We do not communicate at all and this cannot
be a beneficial environment for our son.
I
love my husband for the wonderful person he is, but to sleep
in the same bed with the man I am married to and be like strangers
is a sad and sick way to live. I lied to myself for years that
I could happily live without passion and sexual satisfaction
from a man, but I don't want to die and never know the joy of
making love. So now, I am faced with a major decision about
my life and marriage.
How
I wish I could go back 25 years or more and do things so differently.
If I had learned to let go of my religious intoxication and
been able to speak with unrepressed people who were knowledgeable
about sensuality and humanity, my life would be so different
from what it is now.
If
you are reading this story and are at a crossroads in your life
or about to commit to marriage, please consider carefully the
importance of not stifling your heartfelt desires and choose
to SELECT the life you really want. DO NOT JUST SETTLE!!
Too
many people settle for something or someone and then wake up
one day and realize what a huge mistake they have made. Seek
out people of understanding and enlightenment to talk with and
learn from.
I
thank God for Lisa Lawless and

and devotion to the truth that many people will be pulled out
of the mire of sexual shame and will come into the sunshine

speaking seems to be the way many of us communicate. I personally
have been guilty of focusing on what I am going to say rather
than fully listening with an open mind and waiting until the
person speaking to me is finished. Seems we interrupt people
and cut them off only to competitively get our point across.
I was reminded
of this when I was speaking to my brother recently about a controversial
subject. It was kind of funny because we both agreed about it,
but I found myself pouncing on his statements with more enthusiasm
about what I was saying and less about what he was trying to
convey.
After noticing
this, I apologized to him for not being as respectful of his
thoughts as I should have been. While I have known the importance
of active listening for a long time and am quite practiced at
it as a therapist, I find that in personal relationships I have
to remind myself once in a while to slow down and really listen.
I think
we all need reminding of this from time to time in this world
often too busy to really take in not just the words that someone
is speaking, but the essence of the person speaking them and
allowing ourselves to really "be" with the person
we are talking with.

I
was driving down the road the other day listening to tunes on
the radio, when a song by Good
Charlotte called Boys
& Girls came on. The chorus, "Girls Don't
Like Boys, Girls Like Cars And Money" is a catchy tune
and I started humming along until I thought about what I was
singing... women are really gold diggers whom aren't competent
enough to earn their own money and buy their own cars so they
have to use men in order to get them.
I
began to think of the many eMails that I get to my company with
the salutation saying "Dear
Sir," or the people who write or call assuming that I am
some ditsy blonde model who is only a mere "image"
for the corporation which must really be owned by men. I began
to get frustrated thinking about how even today women are still
being discriminated against in the work place and in social
situations.
I
know that sometimes when I speak with other businesses on the
phone or even customers they are often shocked that I am a real
person and highly knowledgeable about everything that my corporation
sells, how to run it and the topics that we address through
it. I have to laugh a bit considering that as I run everything...
I should know about it!
Being
the breadwinner as the owner and C.E.O. of my corporation, a
mom and wife my life is pretty busy and fulfilling. As a woman
who was a teen in the 80's, I can say that I was lucky to be
brought up thinking that a woman could be and do anything she
put her mind to.
Still,
I can catch my Mother's old fashioned upbringing come in to
play when she thinks that it is more appropriate for my husband
to fix our son's bike or hook up a DVD player when I have done
those things myself many times.
From
the first women's rights convention to the historic formation
of the American Equal Rights Association women have and
continue to fight for their equality.
In
1923, the National Woman's Party first proposed the Equal
Rights Amendment to eliminate discrimination on the basis
of gender. It has never been ratified.
There
seems to be a lingering of role stereotyping and I have to say
sometimes it makes me feel frustrated that we have not fully
come to a place where we see women as perfectly capable of running
a company or fixing a bike, or anything else for that matter.
Women
and men are different, we have different strengths and weaknesses.
My husband is not nearly as talented as I am at decorating our
home and I have a much harder time lifting heavy furniture which
he picks up with ease. I recognize that we must work with our
strengths and weaknesses and honor them... but I think it good
to recognize that many stereotypes are based on illogical thought.
Women are just as capable of intellectual thought as men and
we certainly deserve to be treated with equal respect.
There
are many ways we can change the way our perception creates our
reality. I hope that we will all act in ways that will provide
respect for both sexes and allow for sexist stereotypes to be
broken.

William Young U.S. District Court. Prior to sentencing,

response: After admitting his guilt to the court for the
record, Reid also admitted his "allegiance to Osama bin
Laden, to Islam, and to the religion of Allah," defiantly
stated "I think I ought not apologize for my actions,"
and told the court "I am at war with your country."
Judge
Young then delivered the statement quoted below, a stinging
condemnation of Reid in particular and terrorists in general.
January 30, 2003 United States vs. Reid. Judge Young:
Mr. Richard C. Reid, hearken now to the sentence the Court
imposes upon you:
On
counts 1, 5 and 6 the Court sentences you to life in prison
in the custody of the United States Attorney General.
On counts 2, 3, 4 and 7, the Court sentences you to 20
years in prison on each count, the sentence on each count
to run consecutive with the other. That's 80 years. On
count 8 the Court sentences you to the mandatory 30 years
consecutive to the 80 years just imposed. The Court imposes
upon you each of the eight counts a fine of $250,000 for
the aggregate fine of $2 million. The Court accepts the
government's recommendation with respect to restitution
and orders restitution in the amount of $298.17 to Andre
Bousquet and $5,784 to American Airlines. The Court imposes

the life sentences are real life sentences so I need go

me explain this to you. We are not afraid of you or any
of your terrorist co-conspirators, Mr. Reid. We are Americans
We have been through the fire before. There is all too
much war talk here. And I say that to everyone with the
utmost respect. Here in this court, where we deal with
individuals as individuals, and care for individuals as
individuals. As human beings, we reach out for justice.
You
are not an enemy combatant. You are a terrorist. You are
not a soldier in any war. You are a terrorist. To give
you that reference, to call you a soldier, gives you far
too much stature. Whether it is the officers of government
who do it or your attorney who does it, or that happens
to be your view, you are a terrorist. And we do not negotiate
with terrorists. We do not treat with terrorists. We do
not sign documents with terrorists. We hunt them down
one by one and bring them to justice. So war talk is way
out of line in this court. You are a big fellow. But you
are not that big. You're no warrior. I know warriors.
You are a terrorist.

species of criminal guilty of multiple attempted murders.
In a very real sense, State Trooper Santiago had it right
when you first were taken off that plane and into custody
and you wondered where the press and where the TV crews
were, and he said you're no big deal. You're no big deal.
What your counsel, what your able counsel and what the
equally able United States attorneys have grappled with
and what I have as honestly as I know how tried to grapple
with, is why you did something so horrific.
What
was it that led you here to this courtroom today? I have
listened respectfully to what you have to say. And I ask
you to search your heart and ask yourself what sort of
unfathomable hate led you to do what you are guilty and
admit you are guilty of doing. And I have an answer for
you. It may not satisfy you. But as I search this entire
record, it comes as close to understanding as I know.

seems to me you hate the one thing that is most precious
You hate our freedom. Our individual freedom. Our individual
freedom to live as we choose, to come and go as we choose,
to believe or not believe as we individually choose. Here,
in this society, the very winds carry freedom. They carry

prize individual freedom so much that you are here in
this beautiful courtroom.
So
that everyone can see, truly see that justice is administered
fairly, individually, and discretely. It is for freedom's
sake that your lawyers are striving so vigorously on your
behalf and have filed appeals, will go on in their representation
of you before other judges. We are about it. Because we
all know that the way we treat you, Mr. Reid, is the measure
of our own liberties.
Make
no mistake though. It is yet true that we will bare any
burden; pay any price, to preserve our freedoms. Look
around this courtroom. Mark it well. The world is not
going to long remember what you or I say here. Day after
tomorrow it will be forgotten. But this, however, will
long endure Here in this courtroom and courtrooms all
across America, the American people will gather to see
that justice, individual justice, justice, not war, individual
justice is in fact being done.
The
very President of the United States through his officers
will have to come into courtrooms and lay out evidence
on which specific matters can be judged, and juries of
citizens will gather to sit and judge that evidence democratically,
to mold and shape and refine our sense of justice. See
that flag, Mr. Reid? That's the flag of the United States
of America. That flag will fly there long after this is
all forgotten. That flag stands for freedom. You know
it always will.

So,
how much of this Judge's comments did we hear on our TV
sets? We need more judges like Judge Young, but that's
another subject. Pass this around. Everyone should and
needs to hear what this fine judge had to say. Powerful
words that strike home.
Not
being a US citizen, I'm pretty sure that my e-mailng to
these people would be useless, but I'm giving you my whole
support to fight these pseudo-religious moralists that
wants to rule the life of everyone... I hope you'll be

who are proud to be Americans we are very concerned about
what we are seeing and hearing. Would you want us poking
around in your private affairs and judging your personal
choices regarding intimate affairs? Lets do what right

Thank
you for informing me of what is going on in Texas. I agree
that it's infringes upon any consenting adult's right,
to practice whatever they choose to in their own bedrooms.
This
law is archaic and needs immediate repeal, however it's
not the only state in your country to have antiquated
laws regarding sex education and freedom of sexual expression.
Unfortunately, there is little I can do since I'm not
an American citizen and have no say in your government's
passing of laws. Being a Canadian citizen I have no right
to voice my opinions. I'm only thankful that we as Canadians,
don't have those same laws.
Even
prostitution itself is legal here, as there are some technicalities
within the law that makes only certain transactions illegal,
and others legal. This seems to be a recurring pattern
in your country within several states, where your government
takes control over individuals rights within the privacy
of their own homes, and while I abhor such laws, I cannot
say or do anything that would make any difference, being
a born and bred Canadian citizen and residing in Canada.

The
women of Texas have had enough of the narrow minded sexist
laws concerning our right to buy and own sex toys. In
view of the fact that a woman has been arrested recently
for selling sex toys to an undercover Narc and is being
prosecuted under this archaic law, the need for reform
is even more obvious. It is currently illegal to own more
than 6 dildos or vibrators in Texas. It is illegal to
call them anything besides novelties. It is illegal to
sell to or teach someone how to use these devices.
Texas
also provides that "A person who possesses six or more
obscene devices or identical or similar obscene articles
is presumed to possess them with intent to promote the
same." (Penal Code sec. 43.23.) If you've got six or more,
you're not just a user - you're a pusher!" We women are
rising up in protest of this grossly outdated and unjust
law which is clearly unconstitutional and a clear invasion
of privacy and discriminates against women.
Why
is it ok to have five and not six sex toys? Why the semantic
arguments of novelties versus dildos? Why not outlaw sodomy?
Oh yea, they did and it was recently overthrown by the
supreme court of our land. This law is equally wrong and
we intend to fight for our right to enjoy whatever sexual
devices we choose in whatever number and variety we desire.
What
goes on behind closed doors sexually in this state between
consenting adults is of no concern of the government.
This unjust law must be overthrown. In an initial attempt
to fight this overbearing and unconstitutional egregious
infringement of our rights we have organized a group of
concerned citizens to change this law. We will circulate
petitions, educate the public and hold consciousness raising
events to address what we see as an unfair and ridiculous
restriction of our freedoms.
The
women of our state will not take this unfair dildo law
laying down! The petition will be circulated and sent
on to the legislature to demand our rights and freedoms
stop being denied by laws written by conservative male
legislators. The initial outreach on this subject will
be occurring at Eyesores birthday party in Austin by a
woman dressed as a spot, circulating the petition and

thing about us humans, is that some of us are very sophisticated
and move with the times... i.e. we have moved on from
the dark ages, and do not allow ourselves to be tethered
by ancient superstitions or religious doctrines that are
there to control and instil fear. Are we to assume sex
toys are weapons of sexual destruction, I think you know
where I am going.
However,
regardless of my attempt at humour, but from this side
of the pond you have become a laughing stock... we see
you the same as the hicks portrayed in the film Deliverance...
that's the level it appears you are at. For all the great
things that the US stands for with its supposedly proud
stance on liberty etc,. you kind of shoot yourselves in
the foot when you deny people sexual freedom - and persecute
certain individuals because they want to share knowledge,
knowledge that can fulfil people - and not suppress.
A
vibrator won't kill you (if used in the correct manner)-
ignorance will - suppression will suffocate. Sexual fulfilment
makes people feel good... about themselves - and about

If

We
Americans pride ourselves on our Constitution's protection
of our inalienable rights, among which is the pursuit
of happiness. We are also guaranteed the freedom to choose
our own set of beliefs, as long as they do not tread on
the rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness
of others. In a sense, our Constitution says that we do
not need to like what others are doing, but my must respect
their right to do it, as long as it is legal. Do I detect
a loophole here that threatens our freedom of expression
and self-determination?
It
seems that in some areas of our great country, there are
those who would censor our thoughts, our speech, and the
behavior we choose to exercise in private, and they will
do so by implementing laws. This is legislation that states
that government can usurp the right of people to sexual
pleasure and, through implication, that brand our bodies
and likeness of our bodies as evil. When has a mini skirt
every exposed something evil? Granted, men might conjure
up sexual thoughts and images, and a few might even perform
disrespectful or illegal acts, but why is it that elements
in our society want to punish the woman and why is it
that it is mostly men who are shaming and blaming her?
So,
we have this issue of the mini skirt, and a man's fear
that he might feel some lustful sexual arousal. If he
believes that his own sexual feelings are evil, it follows
that the easiest way to escape these uncomfortable feelings
is to project that shame onto the woman. "It was not I,
God. The mini skirt made me do it! No, it was the evil
woman wearing the skirt!" Hence it is the woman who is
punished, even though she would expose more of her body
on the public beach.
However,
on the public beach, all manners of butts and legs and
boobs are displayed, covered more or less. But bodies
that do not fit our perception of sexy are ignored. A
sexually attractive woman, however, will be admired by
some and scorned by other . . . not for their beauty,
but by what the observer feels. Some will feel the "chemistry"
and tingle in a nice way. Others follow the ridiculous
principle of the irrational male: If she arouses me, she
is the evil one!
One
also might wonder why there is all this commotion about
dildos for heterosexual women that are made in the shape
of a penis? Are men afraid of being replaced? Perhaps
instead we men need to work on being more respectful of
women and strive to perfect our skills at making love.
After all, a dildo cannot kiss a woman good night and
tell her of her special value.
Could
it be that some men worry that a woman is going to scoff
at them because their penis is smaller than many of the
artificial erections? Is it man's obsessive fear about
penis size that cause legislators to label the phallic-shaped
toys as immoral devices? Which deserves society's serious
attention, the size of dildos or men's worry about their
own God-given equipment?
There
are still men who adhere to a "pole and a hole" concept
of sexuality. All a man has to do is stick his magic pole
into her magic hole and stir it around. Bam . . . mutual
and simultaneous orgasms. We know, however, that as many
as 65 percent of all orgasmic women are not reaching orgasm
during penile-vaginal intercourse – no matter how big
the pole or how long the stirring. There is also a significant
number of women who are not orgasmic with oral or manual
stimulation. Who is it who feels they have the right to
prevent women from one or more orgasms when the best way
to get there is with a vibrator? Who has the right to
tell us that we cannot educate women and couples on the
use of a vibrator, alone, with a partner watching, with
a partner helping, or during intercourse? Who dares feel
justified in denying women pleasure? Could there be men
who believe that if a man cannot do it for a woman, she
is not entitled. Are them men who feel threatened by the
realization that a woman could have more and stronger
orgasms with a toy?
And
we know that an artificial vagina is going to cause some
conservative people a lot of grief. They might argue that
if God had wanted us to look at female genitals, He/She
would not have hidden them between a her legs! These are
people who, of course, never considered the possibility
that at one point in our evolutionary history, our female
ancestors walked on all fours and, like our contemporary
primates cousins, their genitals were fully and beautifully
exposed to the rear! Just think of it. As unique the design
of each women's genitals are, we would recognize a friend
both as she walked toward us and as she walked away. There
is nothing evil about the human body, no matter which
way it is headed!
There
are those who believe that sexual desire is evil, and
that thoughts of fornication and fantasies of adultery
are every bit as sinful as the actual act. There are still
those who think of self-pleasuring as self-abuse. We need
to respect the right of these people to feel guilty and
to punish themselves for their self-defined wicked thoughts.
However, these people who dare call themselves righteous
must also respect those of us who believe that sexuality
is normal, natural, and an aspect of adult life that we
all have the right to enjoy – alone, with another consenting

Nashville,
Tennessee Bar Covers Nipples on Antique Photos
Seems
the ultra conservatives are at it again... while nude
women have been on the menu at The Sutler
for years, the Nashville pub covered up the 19th-century
Victorian photos after being warned they might be too
racy for state law.
The
Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission decided Wednesday
that only one photo showing a woman's genital area was
off-limits, but by then every nipple on the menu had been
covered in black marker.
The
pub has displayed the artistic antique photos for many
years and had never attracted notice of state regulators
until recently. Commission agents had told the pub owner
that some of the photos, thought to be from the mid-1800s,
might run afoul of state laws that limit sexually explicit
material or performances where alcohol is served.
The
law bans such things as displays of sexual intercourse
and nude wait staff, as well as ``scenes wherein artificial
devices or inanimate objects are employed to depict, or
drawings employed to portray, any of the prohibited activities.''
``The underlying issue is whether the pictures violate
the statute,'' said Danielle Elks, executive director
of the Alcoholic Beverage Commission. ``It is a very broad
statute.''
Elks
said a misunderstanding led The Sutler to black out its
menus before the commission made its decision. ``It was
never the intent of the agency to cite (the pub), and
the agency did not threaten them,'' she said. The owner
of The Sutler, Johnny Potts, said he did not want to talk
about the issue.
With
the whole Janet Jackson "scandal," it seems
some people are too scared to take a stand against ultra
conservative censorship.
Cincinnati Prosecutors Attempt to Resurrect 1999 Charges
Against Jimmy & Larry Flynt (Hustler)
Three
appeals court judges grilled Hamilton County prosecutors
Wednesday about an attempt to reinstate old criminal charges
against Larry and Jimmy Flynt. Prosecutors claim the Flynts,
owners of the Hustler store in Cincinnati, violated a
1999 deal in which prosecutors dropped pandering obscenity
charges and the Flynts promised to never again sell sexually
explicit videos in the county.

Mike Allen sought to reinstate the original charges last
year after a raid of the store found numerous explicit
videos for sale. But at a hearing Wednesday before the
Ohio 1st District Court of Appeals, the judges repeatedly
challenged Allen's plan to reinstate the old charges.
The judges will not decide the case for weeks, but the
tough questions they asked of prosecutors suggested they
are wary of any attempt to hold the Flynts legally responsible
for a promise they made five years ago. "I'm having a
hard time with this," Judge Mark Painter said. "If you
dismiss a case, it's over. If this were proper, it seems
to me you could have everybody in the county on super
secret probation indefinitely."
The
Flynts' lawyers said it's unfair and unconstitutional
to charge their clients with crimes for selling videos
that no longer are available at their Hustler store. They
also argued that the 1999 deal should be thrown out because
it bans the Flynts from selling all explicit videos, even
those that may not violate community standards for obscenity.
"
The
(1999 deal) is unenforceable because you can't make someone
trade away their constitutional right to distribute non-obscene
material," said Paul Cambria, one of the Flynts' lawyers.
Judge Ralph Winkler said he was concerned about the 1999
deal because it involved a plea by the Hustler store company,
rather than the Flynts as individuals.
He
questioned whether prosecutors could now charge the Flynts
with violating a plea deal that they did not sign. Assistant
Prosecutor Ron Springman said original charges were against
the Flynts - not the company - and that the company was
permitted to enter a no contest plea only because the
Flynts promised to stop selling explicit videos. If prosecutors
don't reinstate the old charges, Springman said, the Flynts
will get away with breaking a legally binding deal. And
if that happens, he said, the entire plea bargain system
would be in jeopardy. "We're talking about undermining
the whole plea bargain process," Springman said.
If
the court rules against prosecutors they will have to
decide whether to bring new charges based on videos now
for sale at the Hustler store. Then it would be up to
a jury to decide whether those videos are obscene.
Abstinence
From Intercourse Has Not Lowered STD Rates
Teenagers
who make a pledge to remain virgins until marriage catch
sexually transmitted diseases as often as those who don't
pledge abstinence. According to a study of the sex lives
of 12,000 adolescents, those who make a public pledge
to delay sex also wind up having fewer sex partners and
get married earlier.
STD
rates were statistically similar for both groups of teens,
and in some cases higher for those who pledged abstinence,
because virginity "pledgers" are less likely to use condoms.
"It's difficult to simultaneously prepare for sex and
say you're not going to have sex," said Peter Bearman,
chairman of Columbia University's sociology department.
"The
message is really simple: 'Just say no' may work in the
short term but doesn't work in the long term."
Data
from the study, presented Tuesday at the National STD
Prevention Conference, was taken from the National Longitudinal
Study of Adolescent Health. That study was funded in part
by the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development
and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
The
analysis also found that in communities where at least
20 percent of adolescents pledged to remain virgins, the
STD rates for everyone combined was 8.9 percent. In communities
with fewer than 7 percent pledgers, the STD rate was 5.5
percent. "It is the combination of hidden sex and unsafe
sex that creates a world where people underestimate the
risk of STDs," Bearman said. Critics of abstinence-only
education saw the findings as evidence that adolescents
benefit from sex education.

The
National Coalition for Sexual Freedom (NCSF) was formed
in 1997 by a small group led by Susan Wright under the
auspices of the New York SM Activists. The goal was to
fight for sexual freedom and privacy rights for all adults
who engage in safe, sane and consensual behavior.
In

and Republicans in Georgia's House of Representatives
have proposed an amendment to their state's constitution
banning same-sex marriages. Same-sex marriages are already
barred by Georgia law, but legislators want to amend the
state's constitution in order to solidify their position.
Georgia
voters will decide this fall whether to amend the state
constitution to ban gay marriage, even if the unions are
performed in other states.

Frequent
Ejaculations May Prevent Prostate Cancer
Men
who ejaculate frequently may be protecting themselves
against the disease based on U.S. research. The study,
published in the April 2004 Journal of the American Medical
Association, was based on an ongoing survey covering a
variety of health issues of thousands of men who were
40 to 75 when the study began in 1986.
The
study, which involved more than 29,000 healthy men and
covered sex of all kinds including masturbation and nocturnal
emissions, confirms a smaller Australian study from last
July that reached similar conclusions, the authors said.
If
the male prostate is the equivalent of the female g-spot
then would it not be worth investigating if ovarian and
cervical cancers are actually originating in the g-spot
(Parauretheral - Skenes Glands) and spreading? Would it
not be of interest to find out if female ejaculation (similar
to prostate fluid in men) being excreted may also contribute
to cancer prevention?
Perhaps
when women's sexuality is taken as seriously as mens...
we will have such studies. Until then, we are left to
hypothesize.
Howard
Stern Permanently Suspended For Obscenity-
Howard
Stern was suspended from Clear Channel Communications
radio as of April 8, 2004 after the Federal Communications
Commission proposed $495,000 in fines against him. ABC
News reported eighteen alleged indecency violations from
Howard's show. Howard indicated he felt this was evidence
of a witch hunt by the Bush Administration since his public
statements against "Dub-yah."
Howard
said that his show compared to a conversation on the Oprah
Winfrey show and took transcripts of both shows side by
side to show that on certain days some of the language
he was fined for was identical. Howard has been attempting
to show that there is a hypocrisy and thus, has attributed
it to his anti-Bush remarks.
Howard's
Response To The FCC's Actions:
"This
is not a surprise. This is a follow up to the McCarthy
type "witch hunt" of the administration and the activities
of this group of presidential appointees in the FCC, led
by "Colin Powell Jr." and his band of players. They and
others (a senator from Kansas City to a congresswoman
from New Mexico) are expressing and imposing their opinions
and rights to tell us all who and what we may listen to
and watch and how we should think about our lives.
So
this is not a surprise. It is pretty shocking that governmental
interference into our rights and free speech takes place
in the U.S. It's hard to reconcile this with the "land
of the free" and the "home of the brave". I'm sure what's
next is the removal of "dirty pictures" like the 20th
century German exhibit in a New York City Museum and the
erotic literature in our libraries; they too will fall
into their category of "evil" as well.

Shuts Down Over HIV Positive Tests
Adult
film producers have shut down sets after an outbreak of
HIV positive tests have been reported. A list of voluntary
quarantined performers were placed on the web site that
screens adult movie performers for STDs.
Representatives
of the gay and straight adult industry, AIM Healthcare
Foundation, the Free Speech Coalition and members of Los
Angeles' gay community met with officials from the L.A.
County Health Department and other health care providers,
as well as a representative from Assemblyman Paul Koretz's
office, to discuss the healthcare problems facing adult
filmmakers. LA County Health Department Seeks Involvement
condoms mandatory. However, this will not address lesbian
transmission of the HIV virus.
After
the HIV outbreak spurred by Marc Wallice in 1998, six
adult studios declared that they were going condom-only,
though only two of those companies, Wicked Pictures and
Vivid Video, remain condom-only.
The
current HIV scare has led over twelve companies to voluntarily
adopt a condom-only policy Every time the HIV outbreaks
have happened the amount of time between tests are shorter
and better testing systems go into place so many are seeing
this as an opportunity to create better safety policies
including fund for adult talent who need the money for
HIV treatment as well as those who temporarily have to
wait to determine if they are HIV positive and are out
of work in the meantime.
